meet the beekeepers

on saturday, we went to our local gardens to meet some of our local beekeepers.
we got to taste some fresh honey and ask the beekeepers lots of questions.

we even got to see some little baby goslings.  my kids go crazy over any kind of animal, so i think this was a highlight for them.
i can't wait to have my own hive.  i decided earlier this year, to put it off until next year, since i didn't want to overwhelm myself with one more thing.  but, i'm super excited about it!
