summertime

i think i was in middle school when this song came out.   when i think of a summer song, this one always comes to mind.  do you have a favorite summer song?

i got to spend some much needed time alone a few days ago. i love being a momma, but this momma was in need a break and some peace and quiet. when i want to just zone out, i head to a bookstore for some easy reading. usually by the time i work through the stack of magazines, the stress, tension and tiredness of being a momma melts away.

i got to have a little afternoon date with my man. just lunch & dessert.

i had chocolate and pistachio frozen yogurt...super yummy!
