what i'm reading wednesday

When I saw the book, When God Makes Lemonade: True Stories that Amaze & Encourage by Don Jacobson, I was immediately drawn to the cover.   I just loved the look of it and wanted to grab a glass of lemonade and start reading.  The book includes 68 encouraging stories that came from everyday people that go through struggles just like the rest of us.  Some of the stories included a "lemon drop" from the author, in which he shares a bit of his perspective.   I love that in the midst or maybe after the fact, we can see how God's hand is in it and how He can make lemonade out of lemons.

I received this book from Booksneeze, in exchange for my honest opinion.  It is only my opinion and mine alone.

I received Little Blessings Stories and Prayers: Blessings for Bedtime by Dandi Daley Mackall and Kathleen Long Bostrom just the other day and my kids and I have already enjoyed it.  There are four stories in just this one book...
Bedtime Blessings
Thank You, God
Blessings Everywhere
God Loves You

The stories have great repetition and rhyming and is perfect for my 3 year old.   However, it is great because my 7 year old can still enjoy it too, it's easy for her to read it to him.

I received this book from Tyndale, in exchange  for my honest opinion.  It is only my opinion and mine alone.
