keeping with our tradition, we decorated her room the night before, while she was sleeping. she kept asking me for days, leading up to her birthday, if we would decorate her room. we did and she was one happy girl!
she opened up one gift in the morning...it was clothes. she got to wear a new dress to school.
she picked breakfast burritos for her special breakfast meal.
we made m&m cookies for her to take to school.
after school, we surprised her with a trip to the american girl store. she got to pick out her first american girl doll.
she chose one of the historical dolls...Emily.
we went to the cheesecake factory for dinner. it was a great day, celebrating our little lady!
