summer fun



summer has officially began!  last year, we created a summer fun list and it was a hit.  so this year, i came up with this...

Make Something Mondays
make sidewalk chalk paint
make slime
learn about an artist and make their own art using the artist's style
make a mud pie kitchen
make batik art
make a kindergarten scrapbook
make a condensed milk painting

Time to Read Tuesdays
participate in the summer reading program at our library
go to the library
read in the backyard
read at the park
go to Barnes & Noble
read Charlotte's Web
read Little House on the Prairie

Whip Up Something Wednesdays
eat breakfast outside
make ice cream
make popsicles
make s'mores
make pie pops
make breakfast banana splits
make pineapple whips
make strawberry shortcake

Themed Thursdays
water day
ocean/beach day
olympic games day
patriotic day
curious george day

Somewhere Fun Fridays
ride bikes to the yogurt shop
picnic & pool
water park
go to the movies
visit the botanical gardens
go to a concert in the park
