getting ready for thanksgiving

my parents arrived today and preparations began for thanksgiving.

i made pilgrim hat place holders.

i painted little flower pots with black chalkboard paint. then added a little felt to make them look like pilgrim hats. i used white chalk to write each person's name.




grammie and our little lady worked on getting the apples ready for the apple pie.


we had a mayflower dinner. i used a a long oval dish and filled it with spaghetti and garlic bread. i added a sail made out of paper and a skewer.


the kids are so excited to have their grandparents here to read to them.
