my birthday

for my birthday, my family and i went out to lunch and had mexican food. we also ate ice cream for dinner, which was on our summer fun list. i didn't want any gifts this year, but just ask for time to myself, which doesn't really happen very often. don't get me wrong, i love my husband and kiddos, but it's nice to have a day to do whatever i want.


the next day, i got my gift!

on my special day, i...
slept in...got up around 9:30am
did my quiet time
went to lunch at panera
went to target
bought yellow, blue and aqua nail polish
bought a cute shirt at tj maxx
read a magazine at barnes and nobles...enjoyed the quiet!
and went to the movies

it was a lovely day!
