butterfly art

i saw this idea on the crafty crow and knew my little lady and i had to do it!
first, we painted our 12x12 canvas. her's aqua and mine yellow.

second, we used watercolor paper and watercolors to paint the entire sheet of paper.

after the paint had dried, we punch out butterflies with our handy dandy martha stewart punch.
then glued them onto the canvas using a glue gun.

i loved the way they turned out!
