Family Fun Night

Theme: Fishin'
Inspiration: My man wanted to take our little lady fishing, since it is one of his favorite things to do. He had gotten her a fishing reel for his Father's Day gift.
The day began with my man and little lady having a little father/daughter time fishing! They went to a regional park nearby where they spent their day. Unfortunately, they didn't even get a bite! But she said it is her new favorite thing! After, they attempted to catch something, they went swimming and had a great time cooling off in the water! Then, they met me at home...for a little dinner, dessert and fun!

Preparations: This was a last minute idea! My man and I literally thought to do this the night before, so lucky we had most of the things to pull it off. I did go buy the foam fish I hung over the dinner table. They cost me 2 bucks at the craft store. The only other thing I had to buy was the fish to eat. Hopefully, next time they will catch some! I had already picked up the dishes and table cloth several months ago. They will make other appearances someday soon!

On the Menu:
Fish (which I was hoping they would have caught)
Veggies
Salad
Fish Bowl Dessert Cups
Smores
I cooked the fish and veggies together in foil over the BBQ...easy and good!

For the Fish Bowl Dessert Cups- all I used was one package of blue Jello and added Swedish Fish to each.

Activities:
We watched 2 Berenstain Bears cartoons- Go to Camp & The Perfect Fishing Spot
