just hatched

first off, i would like to introduce you to the newest members of our family...our baby chicks!
we bought 4 different kinds of chicks...
2 araucanas...they lay blue eggs, which i can't wait to see!
1 barred rock
1 sliver laced wyandotte
1 buff orpington
the kids were thrilled to pick them out!  we got 5 of them, when i was only thinking about having 3 to
4 chickens...i guess we went a bit crazy!
the kids are glued to them and just sit and watch them! here are their names...
penny pepper
betsy buttercup
nellie and tillie are the araucana chicks
and last, but not least...sunnyside up...aka..sunny  my husband came up with this one!
