valentine's day

our day began with chocolate waffles, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. i found the recipe here.

i wrote everyone letters of "the ten things i love about you." we read them out loud over breakfast.

then, we were off to bible study and then to my little lady's school for her valentine's day party. i ran the cookie decorating center for the kids and had a great time! she brought home lots of cards and candy.

i made heart calzones for dinner. they were not that hard to make and my family loved them! i just made my pizza dough, rolled out the dough and used a cookie cutter to make the dough into heart shapes.

i made the inside mixture with tomato sauce, herbs, italian chicken sausage, garlic and cheese.

i used a fork to pinch the sides and baked them at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
