fall bunting
this time of year, i really like focusing on being thankful and giving thanks to the One who has blessed us with so much. i find myself not being thankful enough and taking so much for granted. i wanted a visual reminder that we need to give thanks. i made this simple banner and hung it in my living room to remind me that i need to thank God more for all he has given me.
i cut out triangular pieces from linen fabric.
i mixed gold and chocolate brown paint together and used it to stamp the letters onto my fabric piece. i was going for more of a vintage/worn look and the color of the letters really gave it that look.
i sewed the fabric pieces onto twine using my sewing machine.
i love the way it turned out. very simple but makes a statement!

Love the bunting! Sort of obsessing over these lately. And I am planning a Thanksgiving one. This is perfect! And so many possibilities in addition to the map.
ReplyDeletePinning this now, BTW!
