cookin' in the kitchen...

if you were to stop by, you would have found me in the kitchen today.

i made a double batch of pancake/waffle batter. my little lady helped me out on this one. i freeze the batter and we pull it out as we need it.
also made a big batch of granola.
strawberries were on sale at my farmer's market, so angel food cake was in order.
i sold my angel food cake pan when we moved to PNG, so i decided to make it in my cupcake pans. it turned out great and will be the perfect amount of angel food cake when i make strawberry shortcake for dessert.
last, a pot of chili is simmering on the stove. it's cold and dreary today, so a nice bowl of hot chili will be yummy tonight!
