a little black dress

about a month ago, i bought this little black dress at the thrift store. it was only $3.00 for this beautiful silk dress. when i bought it, i didn't know where i would wear it, but for 3 bucks, i couldn't pass it up. i thought maybe i would wear it for Christmas or out to a nice dinner with my husband.

unfortunately, i will be wearing it to a funeral.

tomorrow, i will be accompanying my husband to a funeral for one of the men my husband worked with.

my husband's line of work is not easy, nor is it always safe.

tomorrow, is the first funeral i will attend that coincides with my husband's work.  it will be a very hard day, one that hasn't been easy to wrap my head around.
