Dr. Seuss week...day 1

i love Dr. Seuss books and so do my kids! in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday which is march 2nd, we will be having some special food and fun!

 it wouldn't be right to start off our week without some fun decorations! i have a bunch of Dr. Seuss books i have bought at thrift stores over the past several years and have used them to decorate with. this year, i made placemats out of construction paper and pages from different books. i had them laminated so that i could use them for more than one year. the total cost of this project was $2...i already had the books and the construction paper, i just paid for the laminating.

our morning began with green eggs and ham, which always confuses my little lady as to how i get the eggs green. one day she will learn that her momma is addicted to using food coloring!
