my mom made these cookies for us when i was little and now i made them for my little ones. be sure to double the recipe!
1/2 cup butter
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup ground pecans
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
preheat oven to 250 degrees. cream sugar, butter, and salt in a bowl. then add vanilla, flour and pecans. roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. bake in oven for 40-45 minutes. allow to cool. roll balls in powdered sugar to coat.
