i know, it's not even thanksgiving yet and i'm talking Christmas here. we've been married for 11 years and i'm finally getting around to making us all stockings.
i wanted something simple and i love burlap and natural fabrics. i used some ribbon and trim to embellish the stockings.
my mama would be proud of me because i made my own pattern and sewed them together. you see, i wanted nothing to do with sewing when i was growing up. my mom is a master at sewing, you'd think i'd want to learn all i could from her. oh well, at least she gets to see all the crazy things i use my sewing machine for!

for my husband...his listening ear and support he gives me.
my little guy feeling better today.
little ones and their precious voices as they sing together.
a hot cup of tea on a sore throat.
living in a great place that has so much to offer our family!
