makeover monday

my nightstand drawer is always a mess!

full of stuff...things that i knew were in there and things i wonder, "how did this get in there?"

here's a before shot of the drawer.

one of the main reasons, i wanted to clean out the drawer is because i found this cute metal tackle box at a thrift store for just over 5 bucks. immediately, i knew what i could use it for...a jewelry box. you see, any jewelry i own...which isn't much, was just throw in my nightstand drawer. not good...especially when the necklaces were getting tangled up.

all I had to do, was give the tackle box a quick makeover with a fresh coat of paint.

here is what it looked like before.

i love spray paint!

oh, yeah...and here is the drawer after...cleaned and organized!

  7. sweet, I totally just repo'd my hubby's grandfather's old tackle box. It has no handle, just a string, lol, but I shall make do with ribbon or something!
