Family Time~ Part 2

Family Time Format
Meet weekly
Have a "No Fuss Dinner" (order pizza, make something simple, eat off of paper plates, etc.)
Discuss Last Family Time
Play Family Theme Song
Pray
Present Activity/Object Lesson
Discuss Message/Story
Memorization (either a verse or a sentence that captures the theme of the lesson.)
Close in Prayer

Obviously, depending on your child's age, that will determine how long Family Time is.

Here is a picture of the 2 books I purchased. There are 25 lessons in each book and all the work is done for you. That means you don't have to come up with the lessons on your own! Also, you can go to the Family Time website here for more information. I think we will be starting our first Family Time this week!

  1. These look really good! I looked up the ones for elementary kids and I think we might give them a try. Thanks for sharing all the fun and helpful things you find! :-)
