Apple Art

This week during preschool time we have done some fun art projects. Since fall and apple season are here, I thought it would be fun to incorporate that into our learning. My little lady loved both projects!

The first one, we used a brown paper bag and cut it out for the trunk and branches. I think teaching a child to write and cut can teach a mom about being more patient...at least that goes for me! We crumpled it up to give it a worn look. Then we glued it onto a piece of paper and started painting our tree with apple pieces.

The second art project was ripping up red construction paper and gluing it onto a paper plate. What kid doesn't like ripping something??? She cut out a leaf and colored a stem for the apple too.

I have some more apple projects I will share with you soon!
